Summer Camp is Now In Session!

A NEW version of Piano Maestro has arrived with Summer Camp (YAY!), new engine for improved note recognition and multiple bug fixes! Make sure to update your app to get:

***Summer Camp!
– Tune in each week to see which free song will be released for your students to learn and play
– “Johnny B Goode” by Chuck Berry is this week’s first song
– Available in three versions (easy, melody line and 2 hand version), songs can be accessed from the main menu or the new Summer Camp category in the Library
– Each week, a top student with 3 stars will be awarded a gift card!

***NEW next-generation MusicSense engine for improved sound recognition for those of you that have been experiencing a few issues.

***We also made multiple bug fixes thanks to your feedback, such as better looking clefs and song audio snippets now play properly. And, of course the icon got a summer makeover 😎

Summer Music Camp

Pender Music Camp, July 10-14, 12:30-3:30 pm (This is why MrsO doesn’t teach in the afternoon this week!)

The theme for this summer’s  Pender UMC music camp will be “Star Quest.”   We will be exploring music that expresses the goodness of God’s creation and tells of the truth of His word in the Bible.

Children will be rotating through handbell, Orff, drumming and craft classes.  In addition to these “out-of-this-world” classes, we will be preparing and presenting excerpts from the musical “Star Quest – The Search for the Stolen Scriptures.”

Join us this year as we blast off to fun and song!  For ages rising 2nd grade – rising 6th grade.

NEW Summer Camp Song!

We’re excited to announce that Summer Camp is still in session! Tune in each week to see which song will be released for your students to learn and play. Each song will feature live singer recordings that the JoyTunes musicians have worked hard to prepare!

“Rock Around The Clock” by Bill Haley is the last Summer Camp song.

Summer Camp is the perfect way to keep your student’s piano practice up during this summer to keep the skills you’ve worked so hard to gain so that come fall your students return to lessons prepared!

Each week a $10 Amazon Gift Card will be rewarded to a top player to recognize your student’s awesome playing (winner will be chosen at random and announced here the following week)!

Songs can be found in the Summer Camp category of the Library.

I hope summer is going well and everyone is remembering to wear sunscreen! I have some exciting news on the Piano front!

JoyTunes, the app team that created Piano Maestro and Simply Piano is once again starting SUMMER CAMP next week! One lucky winner will receive an Amazon gift card!

Here’s how it works!

Every week for the duration of Summer Camp the JoyTunes Team will release a summer camp song. They will announce the song on social media, email and through me! There will be several versions of the tune so everyone can play. Students who get 3 stars on the song will automatically be registered in the drawing to win.

The more they play the more entries they get! Super easy!

Remember to force quit after each practice session for your entry to count! What a great way to retain those piano skills we worked so hard for this year!

The WINNER will be announced by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and if it’s you, EMAIL! Don’t worry! JoyTunes won’t post anything without your permission!

Start brushing up by playing last year’s Summer Camp tunes and get ready to PLAY!

Summer Camp is Back. New Pop Song Released Each Week!

Summer is upon us which means BBQ cook outs, poolside hangouts and lots of ice cream! It also means less time by the piano, which means getting back into the groove of playing can be difficult come September.

We at JoyTunes want to keep you playing all summer long! To do so we are bringing back Summer Camp in Piano Maestro!

Each week, starting July 1st, we will release a new fun song for you to learn and play. Songs from artists such as

Colbie Caillat

Michael Buble

Florida Georgia Line and more!

Summer Camp songs can be found in the “summer camp” category in the Library.

Prizes will be rewarded to top players, we want to recognize your awesome playing!

Summer Camp is the perfect way to keep your piano practice up during this summer, as to not miss a beat.

The first song of Summer Camp will be Andy Grammer “Honey, I’m good”. Check out the (very cute!) video for the song to get a taste of what to look forward to!
