The original O’Connor Music Studio Web Site has information on studying piano, organ or electric MIDI keyboard in this Northern Virginia studio.

Mrs Mary Kelly O’Connor has been teaching piano and organ lessons since the early 1970’s even though she’s still young at heart :) She has a Music education degree, specializing in piano, UMass, Amherst, 1970

In addition to continuing music education, private lessons, lectures, post-grad classes, teacher workshops, she also accompanies other musicians in performance.

Her current students range in age from 4 to past 75 and most continue playing for many years.

In addition to playing piano and organ herself, Mrs. O’Connor also plays handbells, violin and accompanies a children’s choir at her church . She has played violin in a local orchestra and sung with Sweet Adelines (barbershop harmony).

She also designs and maintains websites, including one for the Music Studio, several for a rare disease - Cushing’s Disease - that she had, a site for Barbados and others. Check out the links to see them all!

In her spare time, Mrs. O’Connor enjoys playing piano duets, yet more handbells(!), reading, traveling and helping others get through the long, arduous task of getting diagnosed with Cushing’s.
